About the role
Supervise daily general accounting transactions and ensure proper account classification.
Key responsibilities
- Review and approve journal entries, adjusting entries, accruals, and reclassification entries
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of supporting documents before posting transactions
- Maintain the General Ledger and subsidiary schedules
- Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash, advances, accruals, and other balance sheet accounts in coordination with concerned personnel
- Ensure timely recording of company expenses, revenues, purchases, and other financial transactions
- Monitor intercompany and inter-branch transactions and ensure proper reconciliation
