General Accounting Supervisor

Job Qualifications:

• Must be College Graduate
• BS in Accountancy
• At least 2 years experience as supervisory level
• With background in Payables, Taxation, Financial Reporting
• Knowledgeable in SAP Business Office
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Thorough understanding of accounts payable functions.
• Excellent supervisory and analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to motivate staff.
• Willing to work onsite in VANS Head Office located in San Pedro City, Laguna

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations
• Participate in regular tax audits, compliance and payroll. Accurate filing & timely submission
• Prepare budgeting reports and forecast revenues
• Manage month-end and year-end closing
• Monitor the daily performance of the accounting department
• Organize financial data into useable information and maintain updated records for easy retrieval
• Track the progress of financial and accounting objectives
• Establish accounting policies and procedures, aligned with company’s targets
• Ensure compliance with the law
• Check / Validate all Journal Entries
• Financial Statement Analysis
• Assist Annual External Audit
• Perform other related tasks as may be assigned by the superior from time to time
