General Anesthesiologist

The full-time General Anesthesiologist in Virginia Beach provides anesthesia services across multiple outpatient surgical centers.

Responsibilities include conducting patient evaluations, administering and monitoring general and regional anesthesia, managing post-operative care, and supervising nurse anesthetists and trainees.

Requirements:

• Medical degree (MD/DO) from an accredited school

• Board certification or eligibility in anesthesiology

• VA medical license

• At least 3 years of high-acuity anesthetic experience

Skills include excellent communication, patient safety focus, and teamwork. The role involves frequent patient interaction, documentation, and responding to complications in a fast-paced environment.
