General Assembler - (Urgent Need)

Position : General Assembler Location : Durham , NC Duration : 06 Months **Total Hours/week : 40.00

Pay: Starting at $18.20/hour

Job Description

• The Assembler I is responsible for assembling and testing subassemblies for the Blister production line, including XF and Ultra machines.
• This position follows Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPIs) to ensure products are built safely, accurately, and to quality standards.
• Daily work assignments and priorities are provided by the Team Lead.

Responsibilities

• Follow MPIs to assemble and test mechanical and electrical subassemblies.
• Route wires and perform wire preparation, including stripping wires and installing pins and ferrules.
• Use hand and measuring tools such as torque wrenches, screwdrivers, drills, calipers, polarity checkers, and presses.
• Perform quality checks and basic testing of completed assemblies.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Complete assigned tasks according to production schedules and priorities.
• Work overtime as needed to support production requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and assembly procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Mechanical aptitude and experience with hand tools.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks and work with small components.
