General Builder

Experienced General Builder Wanted – Immediate Start

We are an established renewable energy company who also specialise in general building works, property renovations and regeneration projects.

Due to an increasing workload and plenty of projects already booked in, we are looking for an experienced, reliable and multi-skilled General Builder to join our established team.

We are currently working on projects in Bromborough and Wrexham, alongside other building and regeneration works across the Wirral and North Wales area.

About the role

We are looking for someone who is confident across a range of building trades and can turn their hand to different aspects of a project.

Your day-to-day work may include:

• Brickwork and blockwork
• Plastering and rendering
• Basic carpentry and joinery
• Groundwork and preparation
• Demolition and strip-out works
• Structural alterations
• General building and renovation works
• Internal and external finishing
• Working from architectural drawings, technical plans and specifications
• Using hand tools, power tools and site equipment safely and competently
• Maintaining a high standard of workmanship throughout each project

What we're looking for

You will need to be an experienced General Builder / Multi-Skilled Builder with a good range of practical skills.

Property renovation experience is highly desirable, particularly experience working on older properties and renovation or regeneration projects.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has strong multi-trade building experience
• Is confident with brickwork, blockwork, plastering and rendering
• Has basic carpentry/joinery skills
• Can read and understand plans and drawings
• Is confident carrying out demolition, groundwork and structural alterations
• Can work independently and use their own initiative
• Takes pride in their workmanship and attention to detail
• Works safely and professionally
• Is reliable, hardworking and punctual
• Has their own vehicle
• Has their own tools

The team

We have a friendly, down-to-earth working environment and are looking for someone who will fit in well with the team, take pride in their work and get stuck in.

Hours can vary depending on the location and requirements of each project. Some working away may occasionally be required, although we always aim to keep this to a minimum.

Pay & work

You will be paid through the CIS scheme, £25 per hour before CIS deductions.

We have plenty of work booked in and are simply looking for the right person to come on board and become part of the team.
