General Builder/Labourer

Job Summary

We are seeking motivated and versatile General Builders/ Labourers/ Carpenters/ Plumbers/ any trades to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be actively involved in a variety of residential building projects from full house renovations to extensions. Your energy, attention to detail, and willingness to learn will contribute significantly to the successful completion of construction tasks. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to develop their skills across multiple trades as part of a friendly team of tradesman.

Responsibilities

• Assist with on-site construction activities, including material handling, site preparation, and clean-up
• Support carpentry, roofing, masonry, plumbing, and electrical tasks as directed by supervisors
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete assigned tasks
• Aid in construction painting, fabrication, and welding projects when required
• Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for all team members
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met and quality standards are upheld
• Maintain a tidy worksite by organizing tools and materials regularly

Requirements

• Previous experience or familiarity with construction sites is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential. Qualifications aren't everything - attitude, enthusiasm and a willingness to work hard are what matters to us
• Knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in construction environments
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods
• Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and team spirit
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
• Pride in your work
• A full and valid UK driving licence is essential

Pay: £12.71-£30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
