General Builder/Labourer

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile person to join our renovation team. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of manual tasks across different projects, supporting skilled trades and ensuring the smooth progress of ongoing works. This role requires the person to have transferable skills in building work, inc but not limited to extension work, able to read drawings, work with inspectors, carry out internal and external renovationwork.

Duties

• Assisting with carpentry, roofing, masonry, and general construction activities
• Supporting plumbing, electrical, and fabrication tasks as required
• Bathroom refurbs
• Operating hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
• Preparing sites by clearing debris and organising materials
• Assisting with the installation of fixtures and fittings
• Moving materials and equipment around the site
• Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained at all times
• Supporting skilled tradespeople with their specialised tasks

Requirements

• Prior experience or knowledge in carpentry, roofing, masonry, or related trades is advantageous
• Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical work, welding, and fabrication processes is desirable
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Good organisational skills with attention to detail
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different project requirements
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while following safety protocols
