General Cashier

Main Responsibilities:

• Receive, verify, and record cash collections from different departments.
• Prepare daily cash reports and ensure all collections are properly documented.
• Reconcile cash receipts against sales reports and supporting documents.
• Prepare bank deposits and handle cash transfers according to company procedures.
• Monitor and replenish petty cash funds, if assigned.
• Maintain accurate records of cash transactions and ensure proper filing of documents.
• Report cash discrepancies to the Accounting Department or immediate supervisor.
• Ensure the safe handling and security of company funds.
• Assist with month-end closing and other accounting-related tasks as needed.

Educational Qualifications

• Graduate of a bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Financial Management, or Business Administration.
• Applicants with other business-related courses may also be considered, depending on their relevant experience and qualifications.

Preferred Work Experience

• At least 1–2 years of experience in cashiering, general cashiering, accounting, or finance-related work.
• Experience handling cash collections, cash reconciliation, bank deposits, and daily cash reports.
• Experience in hotels, resorts, restaurants, or other hospitality establishments is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and accounting or POS systems.
• Strong attention to detail, honesty, accuracy, and a high level of integrity.
