General Cleaner

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, including residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. As a Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all areas are clean, safe, and welcoming for occupants and visitors.

Duties

• Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal in residential, commercial, or hospitality settings
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or uniforms with care and efficiency
• Conduct detailed floor care procedures including carpet cleaning, polishing hard floors, and applying appropriate sanitation techniques
• Manage janitorial responsibilities like restocking supplies, sanitizing restrooms, and maintaining cleaning equipment
• Assist with outdoor work tasks such as trash collection, outdoor surface cleaning,
• Support housekeeping management by following schedules and reporting maintenance or safety issues promptly

Experience

• Prior custodial or janitorial experience in residential or commercial environments preferred
• Hands-on experience with carpet cleaning, floor care, sanitation practices, and outdoor cleaning tasks
• Background in hotel housekeeping or hospitality service is a plus
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout shifts
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with precision
• Customer service skills that foster positive interactions with clients and team members
