Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure health and safety standards are met consistently
• Maintain floors through proper cleaning, floor care, and carpet cleaning techniques using appropriate equipment and detergents
• Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or uniforms as needed
• Use janitorial equipment efficiently for tasks like floor cleaning, surface sanitation, and outdoor work when required
• Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of supplies or furniture safely and effectively
• Communicate professionally with clients regarding specific cleaning needs or requests to ensure complete satisfaction

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or residential housekeeping with a strong understanding of janitorial procedures
• Knowledge of cleaning detergents, surface cleaning techniques, and sanitation standards
• Skilled in operating cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, carpet cleaners, and outdoor tools
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper manual handling techniques
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout shifts
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members
• Experience with outdoor work environments and residential cleaning projects is a plus

Pay: $16.00 - $27.87 per hour
