Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including bed making, dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and surface sanitation to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures effectively across different areas such as bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, floors, and outdoor spaces.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, carpet cleaners, floor buffers, and pressure washers with proper manual handling techniques.
• Ensure proper use and storage of cleaning detergents and supplies while adhering to safety guidelines.
• Communicate professionally with clients or residents regarding cleaning schedules or special requests to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and supplies used for accountability and quality control.
• Support housekeeping management by assisting with inventory checks and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Experience

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial settings is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during cleaning tasks.
• Experience with carpet cleaning, floor care (including polishing and stripping), and surface sanitation is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, equipment operation, and proper handling of cleaning chemicals is essential.
• Outdoor work experience is a plus, especially involving yard maintenance or exterior cleaning projects.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively across multiple properties or client requests.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients or residents regarding their needs and expectations.
