General Cleaner

Job Overview
As a Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, ensuring that spaces are welcoming and hygienic. What you’ll do

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces.
• Execute floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify cleaning needs and report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Utilize appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment safely and effectively for various surfaces.
• Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Support custodial duties by managing waste disposal and recycling efforts efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning schedules are met consistently.
• Provide porter services by assisting with moving furniture or equipment as required.

Basic qualifications

• Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred.
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and techniques.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in facilities maintenance or custodial services.
• Knowledge of residential painting techniques is a plus.
• Previous experience in industrial cleaning environments is an advantage.
