General Construction Worker

We are seeking a motivated and versatile General Construction Worker to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be an essential part of various construction projects, contributing to the successful completion of building, remodeling, and restoration efforts. Your hands-on expertise will help ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Duties

• Assist with the installation of building materials, including drywall, flooring, tile, cabinetry, and trim carpentry to bring architectural plans to life.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks such as framing, roofing, concrete finishing, demolition, and masonry work.
• Perform demolition, site cleanup, and preparation work for new construction or remodeling projects.
• Conduct construction inspections to verify adherence to safety protocols and project specifications.
• Assist with heavy equipment operation when necessary for excavation or material transport.
• Follow all safety protocols diligently while working outdoors or in confined spaces on various construction sites.

Skills

• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation.
• Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate project execution (preferred, but not necessary).
• Knowledge of building construction practices including framing, roofing, masonry, stucco, plastering, and concrete forming.
• Familiarity with construction management principles and estimating processes.
• Ability to interpret technical plans for window installation, door hanging, glass installation, and cabinetry setup.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures related to construction site work and outdoor environments.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills.
