General Dentist Associate

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice part or full time. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and have a comprehensive understanding of dental procedures and terminology. This role involves diagnosing and treating various dental conditions, performing oral surgeries, and ensuring patient comfort throughout their treatment journey.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations of patients' oral health and diagnose dental issues.
• Perform a variety of dental procedures, including but not limited to endodontics, pediatric dentistry, and dental extractions.
• Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
• Document medical histories and maintain accurate medical documentation for each patient.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
• Stay current with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
• Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
• Proficiency in dental terminology and familiarity with software such as Epic and Eaglesoft is preferred.
• Experience in oral surgery and the ability to perform complex procedures is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care in a friendly and professional manner.
• Malpractice insurance.
