About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and clinically confident Dentist to join our team on an attractive 40% commission structure.

The role is focused on general dentistry, extractions, root canal treatment, diagnosis and comprehensive treatment planning.

Implant and cosmetic dentistry experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality general dental treatment
• Perform simple and surgical extractions, where clinically appropriate
• Carry out root canal treatments
• Conduct comprehensive dental examinations
• Accurately diagnose dental and oral health conditions
• Develop clear and appropriate treatment plans
• Perform restorative treatments including fillings and general restorative dentistry
• Manage emergency dental cases where required
• Clearly explain diagnoses, treatment options, risks and expected outcomes to patients
• Provide preventive dental care and oral health education
• Obtain appropriate informed consent before treatment
• Maintain accurate and detailed clinical notes
• Work collaboratively with dental assistants, reception staff and other clinicians
• Maintain high standards of infection control and clinical compliance

Essential Requirements

• Current and unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Dentist
• Appropriate professional indemnity insurance
• Strong experience in general dentistry
• Confidence with extractions
• Confidence with root canal treatment / endodontics
• Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills
• Excellent treatment planning ability
• Good patient communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional, ethical and patient-focused approach
• Ability to work independently and manage a general dental patient book
• Reliable and committed to delivering high-quality patient care
