General Foreman

About the role

This role involves overseeing and coordinating daily construction activities across assigned project areas, supervising Foremen, skilled workers, general laborers, and subcontractors, and ensuring that all work is performed according to approved plans, specifications, and instructions from the Project Manager or Construction Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily construction activities across assigned project areas
• Supervise and monitor the performance of Foremen, skilled workers, general laborers, and subcontractors
• Ensure that daily work assignments are properly distributed based on project priorities, manpower availability, and construction schedules
• Monitor construction progress and ensure that activities are performed according to approved plans, specifications, and instructions
• Evaluate manpower requirements and recommend appropriate deployment of workers across project areas
• Monitor attendance, punctuality, productivity, discipline, and work performance of assigned personnel
• Ensure that construction activities comply with approved plans, technical specifications, and company quality standards
• Monitor the quality of structural, masonry, plumbing, waterproofing, tiling, painting, ceiling, and other construction and finishing works
• Coordinate with Material Control, Warehouse, and Purchasing regarding construction material requirements and delivery schedules
• Ensure that workers comply with company safety policies, site regulations, and applicable occupational safety requirements

About you

• Ability to oversee and coordinate daily construction activities
• Experience supervising Foremen, skilled workers, general laborers, and subcontractors
• Knowledge of construction plans, technical specifications, and company quality standards
• Ability to monitor attendance, punctuality, productivity, discipline, and work performance
• Experience with material and equipment management in construction environments
• Knowledge of occupational safety requirements and safe work practices
• Ability to prepare and consolidate daily or weekly accomplishment reports
• Strong coordination and communication skills with multiple departments and personnel
