General Foreman | Class 2

Our client is a well-established residential builder delivering high-quality multi-unit apartment developments across Sydney. Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they are seeking an experienced General Class 2 Foreman to join their site team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated construction professional to work on large-scale residential projects while playing a key role in driving safety, quality, and programme outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily site operations.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, and site labour.
• Ensure works are completed in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Maintain high standards of quality control and workmanship.
• Enforce and promote a strong site safety culture.
• Conduct site inspections and toolbox talks.
• Monitor project progress and address site issues proactively.
• Liaise with project managers, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Assist in short-term programming and resource planning.
• Ensure compliance with all WHS and Class 2 building requirements.

About You

• Proven experience as a Foreman or Senior Site Supervisor within residential construction.
• Demonstrated experience delivering Class 2 residential apartment projects.
• Strong knowledge of Australian Building Codes and construction standards.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Strong understanding of quality assurance and defect management.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Current driver's licence.
