Walter Iezzi Property Group is seeking an experienced Site Manager / General Foreperson to lead the delivery of an 8-storey multi-residential development on the Fraser Coast.

This role is suited to an experienced commercial/high-rise Site Manager or General Foreperson who has successfully delivered comparable projects and can confidently lead day-to-day site operations.

About the Role

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

You will oversee subcontractors, coordinate construction activities, drive programme outcomes, maintain quality standards and provide strong site leadership throughout the construction of an 8-storey residential development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all day-to-day site operations.
• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, trades and suppliers.
• Deliver the project in accordance with programme, budget and quality requirements.
• Maintain a safe, compliant and well-organised construction site.
• Coordinate site logistics, deliveries and material management.
• Monitor productivity and proactively resolve construction issues.
• Undertake quality inspections and defect management.
• Maintain accurate site records and reporting.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors and the Project Manager.
• Foster a positive culture focused on safety, quality and accountability.

Essential Skills & Experience

The successful applicant mustdemonstrate:

• Experience as a Site Manager or General Foreperson delivering commercial and high-rise (5+ storey) construction projects.
• Demonstrated experience successfully delivering mid to high-rise apartment developments from structure through to completion.
• Strong commercial construction background with experience managing projects valued between $15M and $30M+.
• Proven ability to independently manage an active construction site.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate multiple trades simultaneously.
• Excellent understanding of construction sequencing, programming and quality control.
• Thorough knowledge of Queensland WHS legislation and site safety requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Essential Qualifications

• Current Queensland Site Supervisor Licence.
• Construction White Card.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• Full Australian working rights.

Trade qualifications in Carpentry or a related building trade will be highly regarded.
