General Hand

About the role

We are a leading paint manufacturer seeking a reliable and hardworking General Hand to join our warehouse team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environment.

Key responsibilities

• Picking and packing customer orders for dispatch
• Labelling paint products accurately and efficiently
• Assisting with stocktakes and inventory control
• Loading and unloading goods
• Preparing and processing dispatch documentation
• Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and organisation
• Following health and safety procedures at all times
• Assisting with general warehouse and production duties as required

About you

• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable and punctual
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous warehouse experience (preferred but not essential)
• Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential)
