General Hand

Peuker & Alexander is a family-owned manufacturing business supplying pre-fabricated timber wall frames and roof trusses to the residential building industry.

We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated General Hand to join our team at our Dandenong facility.

About the Role

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Keeping factory floors, walkways, yard and common areas clean and organised
• General cleaning of office areas, kitchens, lunchrooms and amenities
• Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms and toilet facilities
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
• Assisting with production duties when required
• Assisting with warehouse duties when required
• Reporting maintenance issues, hazards, or damaged equipment
• Strict compliance with safety policies and procedures

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and organised work environment
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
• Physical fitness
• Full working rights in Australia
• Availability Monday-Thursday 7.30am-4.00pm and Friday 7.30am-1.30pm
