Job Title: Property Maintenance Handyman

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and skilled Property Maintenance Handyman to join our team at Absolute Property Maintenance. The ideal candidate will have experience with various handyman tasks, including repairs, installations, and general property upkeep. You must possess a valid driver's license, have your own vehicle and tools, and be committed to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities: Perform general property maintenance and repair tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, painting, landscaping, clean-ups, and appliance installation. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes. Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project status and completion. Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times.

Qualifications: Proven experience as a handyman or in property maintenance. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Own vehicle and necessary tools for various maintenance tasks. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in general maintenance or handyman roles with knowledge of facilities equipment maintenance
• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools
• Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate with team members and assist customers when needed
• Supervisory or leadership experience demonstrating the ability to oversee projects or lead small teams effectively
• Knowledge of safety standards related to electrical work, plumbing, HVAC systems, and general building maintenance
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, bending, and standing for extended periods

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
