Due to strong growth and excellent results, Cloverdale Paint Inc. has an incredible opportunity for a General Help role**.** The successful candidate will join our team at our Montreal facility.

We looking for the right individual that share the same values we do. These are permanent, full-time role. This role will support all aspects of the facility operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supporting production of paint products by following in-depth work instructions
• Utilize several different types of production equipment to fulfill formulation requirements
• Work closely with fellow employees on scheduling and production coordination to optimize throughput
• Perform in-process testing and record keeping of daily operations.
• Daily maintenance of production equipment
• Help maintain a clean, safe work environment

QUALIFICATIONS

• Fluent in French and English, both written and verbal, is required to communicate effectively with customers, carriers, suppliers and colleagues
• Experience working in a production or industrial branch environment is an asset
• Knowledge of industrial and heavy-duty coatings, solvents, spray equipment, pumps and related accessories is an asset
• Dependable and safety-focused, with the ability to organize priorities and work with minimal supervision
• Ability to lift and maneuver paint containers and related products weighing up to 70 lb., with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach and perform repetitive material-handling tasks for extended periods
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills, competent in math and numeric comprehension
• Excellent attendance and work record
• Availability for shift work, overtime and flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, as operationally required

*Previous experience with operating production machinery and experience in the paint industry is an asset*

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
