General Laborer

Brick City Metals is seeking a general laborer to support the daily operations of our manufacturing facility doing a variety of manual tasks related to production support, material handling and facility upkeep. This role is essential in keeping the production floor running safely and efficiently.

WHAT THE ROLE DOES:

• Load, unload, and move raw materials, parts, and finished goods using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or forklifts once certified
• Assist machine operators with feeding materials, staging products and clearing finished parts
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area in accordance with 5S and housekeeping standards
• Follow all safety protocols including proper use of PPE
• Operate basic hand and power tools as needed
• Accurately complete production logs, time records, and other required paperwork
• Assist with inventory counts and material stocking
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Prior experience manufacturing, warehouse or general labor role
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Basic math skills required for counting and measuring
• Forklift certification a plus
• Ability to lift 50lbs. regularly and 75 lbs. occasionally, stand walk, bend and climb ladders and stairs for entire shift
