General Laborer

We are looking for a dependable, hardworking General Laborer to join our wood drying operation. This position involves hands-on work with lumber and wood products, assisting with loading and unloading, stacking, handling materials, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

No previous experience in wood drying is required. We are willing to train the right person.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload lumber and wood products.
• Stack and organize lumber for the drying process.
• Assist with moving materials throughout the facility.
• Monitor and maintain organized wood storage areas.
• Keep work areas clean and safe.
• Follow safety procedures and instructions.
• Operate basic hand tools and equipment as trained.
• Assist other team members with daily production needs.
• Perform other general labor duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Reliable and dependable.
• Able to work in a physically demanding environment.
• Able to lift and move lumber and materials as required.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
• Good attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and directions.
• Previous lumber, sawmill, manufacturing, or warehouse experience is a plus, but not required.
