General Laborer

Job Type: Full-Time
Position: General Laborer / Construction Laborer
Schedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional weekends as needed
Travel: Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel up to 1 hour from the primary work area as needed.

About the Position

We are seeking a dependable, motivated, and hardworking General Laborer to join our full-service construction team. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working with their hands, learning new skills, and taking pride in quality workmanship.

The ideal candidate is a team player who is willing to perform a wide variety of construction, renovation, maintenance, and property improvement tasks. Experience in construction is preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual who demonstrates a strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Assist with residential and commercial construction projects
• Demolition and removal of existing materials
• Framing and basic carpentry
• Installing and repairing siding, trim, doors, and windows
• Deck and porch construction and repairs
• Drywall installation and repairs
• Painting and surface preparation
• Flooring installation and removal
• Basic landscaping and exterior property improvements
• Loading, unloading, and transporting tools and materials
• Site preparation and job-site cleanup
• Operating basic hand and power tools
• Assisting skilled tradespeople and project supervisors
• Moving and handling construction materials
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized job site
• Following safety procedures and company policies
• Performing other duties related to construction and property improvement as assigned

Qualifications

Required:

• Reliable transportation to and from job sites
• Ability to travel up to 1 hour from the primary work area when necessary
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Ability to work outdoors and in various weather conditions
• Ability to lift, carry, and move construction materials
• Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools safely
• Dependable and punctual
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Preferred:

• 1+ year of construction, remodeling, maintenance, landscaping, or related experience
• Basic carpentry experience
• Experience with power tools
• OSHA or construction safety training
• Experience in residential remodeling or property maintenance

Physical Requirements

This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, reaching, lifting, carrying, and working with hand and power tools.

Candidates must be capable of lifting and carrying construction materials and equipment as required for the job.

Pay: Competitive hourly rate based on experience and skill level.
