General Laborer

Summary

As a General Laborer, you will be an essential part of our production team, responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient running of our production processes. This role involves hands-on work with different types of metals, quality control, and maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

Pay: $17-$20 an hour, based on experience
Shift: 7am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Fulfill daily production requirements assigned by department lead or production manager.
• Performs work in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Work with different types of metals by assembling, cutting, drilling, painting, and punch press.
• Cleaning, counting, and packaging of completed assemblies.
• Perform visual quality inspections.
• Perform measurements of products produced.
• Maintain activity logs and or production orders.
• Maintain and clean workspace, which include sweeping, picking up garbage, and throwing garbage out.
• Perform other duties as assigned by production manager.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Knowledge of safety warehouse practices.
• Forklift experience.
• Ability to prioritize daily responsibilities and tasks.
• Good understanding of quality control principles.
• Basic understanding of hand tools and power tools.
• Must be able to use and read a tape measure.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

• Safety Glasses – Company provided - Required while in the shop.
• Industrial work shoes or boots required while in the shop.
• Proper PPE must be worn for the job – Company provided.
• Hearing protection – Company provided/Recommended.
• Must wear long pants.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
