General Laborer

Schaffers Mill, located in Truckee, CA, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time General Laborer! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Pay Range: $21 to $23 an hour

Key Responsibilities of the Grounds Labor:

• Performs general landscape maintenance using hand held equipment
• Rakes and maintains sand bunkers.
• Operates small machinery to assist with edging, trimming and mowing.
• Prepares soil beds for sod, seed and vegetative material.
• Involved with tasks related to course detail (weed and debris clean up).
• Assists with golf course set-up procedures.
• Performs skilled duties related to experience (pruning, plugging, etc.).
• Operates equipment safely and is aware of associates and their prospective work areas.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications for the Grounds Labor:

• One month related experience or training.

• Regular and reliable attendance
