General Laborer

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks that support the daily operations of our facility. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with others. The Laborer will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the loading and unloading of equipment, materials and supplies.
• Perform general maintenance tasks, including cleaning and organizing work areas.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Follow instructions from supervisors to complete assigned tasks.
• Support skilled tradespeople in various construction or maintenance activities.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
• Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to management promptly.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a labor-intensive role is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions accurately.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools is a plus.
• Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
