General Laborer – Entry Level

We’re hiring an entry‑level General Laborer to join our small, family‑owned custom furniture shop in Sherman, TX. No advanced woodworking experience needed — we’ll train the right person. This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced shop environment, and we’re looking for someone who shows up consistently and takes pride in their work.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with building custom furniture using shop tools and machinery
• Learn to safely operate machines as part of your training
• Follow instructions and work alongside our lead builders
• Keep work areas clean and organized
• Move materials using carts, dollies, or forklifts (if certified)
• Inspect parts and finished pieces for quality
• Safely lift and handle materials up to 75 lbs throughout the shift

Helpful Skills (Not Required — We’ll Train You)

• Basic tape‑measure and layout skills
• Comfort using hand tools or power tools
• Any warehouse, shop, or assembly experience

Probationary Period & Growth

All new hires begin with a 90‑day probationary period.
Once successfully completed, you’ll receive:

• A pay rate review
• Eligibility for additional benefits, including 401k
