General Laborer - Installer

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Laborer - Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be instrumental in installing, assembling, and finishing various building materials and fixtures across diverse projects. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure that installations are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation of building materials such as tile, masonry, cabinetry, fixtures, glass, and flooring according to project specifications
• Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and heavy equipment safely and effectively to complete installation tasks
• Follow blueprint specifications and interpret technical drawings to ensure precise measurements and placements
• Conduct construction inspections to verify quality control and adherence to safety standards throughout each project phase
• Measure dimensions accurately using tape measures and other measuring devices for proper fitting and alignment
• Prepare work sites by organizing materials, setting up scaffolding or ladders, and ensuring a clean workspace for efficient progress
• Support remodeling projects by performing tasks such as plastering, caulking, stucco application, concrete finishing, or masonry work as needed

Qualifications

• Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of building material installation processes
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and heavy equipment operation
• Knowledge of blueprints, construction plans, and technical drawings for accurate execution of tasks
• Experience with tile masonry, gutter installation, drywall finishing, flooring installation or related trades is preferred
• Ability to interpret dimensional measurements accurately and follow detailed blueprint specifications
• Basic electrical or plumbing experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
• Excellent customer service skills for interacting professionally with clients or project managers on-site
• Strong safety awareness with the ability to use ladders safely and follow all safety protocols during work activities

Pay: $26.39 - $31.78 per hour
