General Laborer - Installer

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented General Laborer - Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the installation of various building materials and systems, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high standards. Duties

• Assist with the installation of building materials such as drywall, flooring, tile, cabinetry, and fixtures according to project specifications and blueprints
• Operate hand tools, power tools safely and effectively on construction sites
• Measure dimensions precisely using tape measures and other tools to ensure proper fit and alignment of materials
• Support carpentry, masonry, roofing, drywall installation, plastering, caulking, and other trade-specific tasks as needed
• Follow safety protocols including ladder use and proper handling of tools and equipment to maintain a secure work environment
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards

Experience

• Prior construction site experience or hands-on work in building or remodeling projects preferred
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, or roofing techniques is advantageous
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation is highly valued
• Ability to perform dimensional measurements accurately and follow blueprint specifications precisely
• Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and clients when necessary

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
