General Laborer - IT Device Sorter

Position Description

Employment Type: Casual
Working Hours: 22.5 hours per week

The Computer Sorter/Dismantler's duty may include, but is not limited to, the following:

• Identify and sort various computer and electronic components, such as motherboards, graphics cards, and circuit boards.
• Assist with the receipt, storage, and processing of materials at the ACE Recycling facility
• Perform manual labour tasks such as sorting, bagging, and dismantling
• Use basic hand tools (e.g., drills, shovels) for dismantling activities.
• Operate all equipment in compliance with relevant legislation, company policies, and procedures to ensure safety and efficiency
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by organising shelves, pallet areas, and workstations

Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of computers and electronic products.
• Ability to identify various types of circuit boards will be considered an advantage.
• Ability to accurately identify computer components such as motherboards and graphics cards.
• Experience in assembling computers is a plus.

Experience:

• labourer: 2 years (Required)
• using power tools: 1 year (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Full Work Right with no restriction for at least 2+ years (Required)
• driver license and car to commute to work? (Preferred)
