General Laborer - Lumber Handler

Position: We are seeking a reliable individual to fill a full-time position. The position is Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm. The starting wage will be based on your experience, certifications, and/or education.

Requirements: Applicants must be 18, must be able to stand for 1 hour, and must be able to lift 25 lbs.

Responsibilities: On our dry lumber line, a lumber handler piles lumber from a conveyor into a cart and re-piles various rerun lumber as needed. When a pack is complete, a handler secures the pack with plastic banding, while wearing proper safety gear at all times. On our incoming fresh cut and green lumber line, a handler lays kiln-dried sticks between the courses of wet lumber. The handler then attaches a bar code number tag to each bundle.
