General Laborer Maintenance

Duties

• Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of piping systems, and civil infrastructure using hand tools and power tools
• Perform manual handling tasks such as lifting heavy materials, moving debris, and supporting construction activities in compliance with safety standards
• Conduct traffic control for work zones to ensure safety for workers and motorists during construction operations
• Support welding tasks and mechanical repairs on equipment to maintain optimal functionality on-site
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment by properly storing tools and materials after use
• Collaborate with team members on roadway construction projects ensuring timely completion while adhering to safety protocols

Skills

• Proven experience operating equipment such as Forklifts and Manlifts, climb scaffolds, use hand tools.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other construction-related tools
• Knowledge of safety protocols including traffic control for work zones and OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Excellent manual handling skills combined with physical stamina for outdoor work environments
• Strong teamwork ethic with the ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures effectively

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
