General Laborer - Painter

Join our team as a General Laborer - Painter, you'll be instrumental in preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring quality. Your hands-on skills and attention to detail will help transform spaces while adhering to safety standards and project timelines. T

Duties

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, surface priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
• Apply paint spray guns (including airless and conventional spray techniques), and other hand or power tools to achieve smooth, even finishes.
• Execute painting tasks on buckets, couplers, snow plows, ect.
• Conduct surface preparation.
• Use hoists safely to access high or hard-to-reach areas while following all safety regulations and wearing appropriate respiratory protection when necessary.
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools such as hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers, and dispose of waste responsibly.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols during all phases of work to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.

Experience

• Prior experience in painting or related trades would be great, but not necessary, will train a responsible, dependable person.
• Ability to operate various hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Understanding of safety practices including respiratory protection use during spray applications.

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 43.0 per week
