General Laborer/Machine Operator

Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious General Laborer to join our team in a fast-paced corrugated manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will assist in the production, packaging, and shipping of corrugated products while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload materials and finished products manually or using equipment.
• Assist machine operators in setting up and operating production equipment.
• Monitor product quality and report defects or inconsistencies to supervisors.
• Stack, bundle, and wrap corrugated sheets or boxes for shipment.
• Maintain cleanliness in the work area by sweeping, removing debris, and organizing materials.
• Follow all plant safety rules, procedures, and regulations.
• Operate basic hand tools and assist in routine maintenance of machines as required.
• Complete required production paperwork and labeling.
• Support other departments or tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements:

• Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work in a noisy, dusty, or warm environment.
• Basic math and measurement skills. Must be able to read a tape measure.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or different shifts if needed.
• Must be reliable
• Must pass drug test

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, bend, reach, and lift.
• Must wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as required, including ear and eye protection.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.25 - $19.00 per hour
