General Labourer

Duties

• Assist with site cleanup, debris removal, and organizing materials to maintain a safe and tidy work environment
• Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment efficiently and safely
• Support skilled tradespeople by handing tools, preparing work areas, and following instructions precisely
• Operate basic hand tools and machinery as trained, adhering to safety protocols at all times
• Help with setting up scaffolding, barricades, and safety signage to ensure compliance with safety standards
• Conduct routine inspections of work areas to identify hazards or issues requiring attention
• Follow all safety procedures diligently and report any incidents or unsafe conditions immediately

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality workmanship
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions clearly
• Reliable work ethic with punctuality and a positive attitude
• Prior experience in construction or manual labour is a plus but not required; training will be provided
• Knowledge of basic safety practices on construction sites is advantageous

Pay: $17.60-$22.00 per hour
