ABOUT THE ROLE

Backam Group is currently seeking reliable Labourers and Cleaners to join a busy timber manufacturing facility in Bathurst, NSW, working within our Manufacturing Division.
This is an ongoing casual role with full-time hours, offering consistent work and long-term stability. If you enjoy hands-on work, take pride in maintaining clean and safe work environments, and want steady employment you can rely on - this role is for you.
📍Location: Bathurst, NSW
🛠 Role: Labourer or Cleaner - Timber Manufacturing
📄 Employment Type: Casual (Ongoing)
🕒 Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday
💰 Pay Rate: $32.18 per hour casual + penalty rates

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• General cleaning throughout the timber mill
• Maintaining workshop and yard cleanliness
• Collecting and disposing of waste materials
• Assisting production teams with labouring duties
• Manual handling and repetitive lifting
• Moving materials around site
• Assisting with housekeeping and site maintenance
• Maintaining safe work practices

ABOUT YOU

You're reliable, physically capable, and safety-focused, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work consistently as part of a team.
To be successful, you will have:
✅ Minimum 12 months labouring, cleaning, or manual handling experience
✅ Driver's licence and reliable transport
✅ Strong work ethic and reliability
✅ Ability to work in an industrial environment
✅ Ability to pass random Drug & Alcohol testing
Highly regarded:

• Previous timber mill experience
• Manufacturing or production experience
• Industrial cleaning experience
