General Labourer

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting various operational tasks across our site, ensuring smooth workflow and maintaining a safe working environment. Duties

• Assisting with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment
• Preparing work areas by cleaning, organising, and setting up tools and supplies
• Supporting tradespeople and other team members with their tasks as required
• Moving materials within the site using manual handling techniques or basic equipment
• Ensuring health and safety protocols are followed at all times
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the work environment
• Assisting with minor maintenance tasks or repairs when necessary
• Adhering to all safety guidelines and reporting any hazards or incidents promptly

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a labouring or construction environment is advantageous but not essential
• Good physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks throughout the day
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a team
• Basic understanding of health and safety procedures in a manual labour setting
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of work
• A valid UK driving licence is desirable but not mandatory
• Strong and reasonable health
