General Labourer

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team. This role involves supporting various operational activities across our site, ensuring smooth workflow and maintaining a safe working environment. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, reliable, and eager to contribute to a dynamic team. Previous experience is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.

Duties

• Assisting operations team with day to day tasks
• Helping with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment
• Preparing work areas by clearing debris and setting up necessary tools and supplies
• Completing the work required around the site using manual handling techniques or machinery where appropriate
• Assisting tradespeople and other team members with their tasks as required
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of work areas to ensure health and safety standards are met
• Following safety protocols at all times to minimise risks on site
• Reporting any hazards or issues to supervisors promptly

Qualifications

• Good physical fitness with the ability to perform manual labour for extended periods
• Basic understanding of health and safety procedures in a work environment
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Previous experience in construction, manufacturing, or similar environments is desirable but not essential
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks as needed
• A valid basic awareness of manual handling techniques is advantageous

This is also a fast track programme into Head of Operations. We will train on the job all the required skills.
