General Labourer

Job Overview

Top Level Concrete is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and motivated Labourer to join our growing team. This position involves a wide range of concrete and site services including concrete finishing, concrete forming, site preparation, grading, excavation support, and operating machinery/equipment.

The ideal candidate is safety-focused, punctual, dependable, and works well both independently and as part of a team. Team members play an important role in ensuring projects are completed efficiently, professionally, and on schedule. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist with loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment on-site

• Perform general labour tasks including digging, lifting, moving materials, and site clean-up

• Assist with concrete forming, pouring, and finishing

• Support site preparation, grading, and excavation work

• Operate basic hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and efficiently

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times

• Follow instructions from supervisors and team leads to complete assigned tasks efficiently

• Support skilled tradespeople and equipment operators as needed

• Adhere to all workplace safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience in concrete, construction, landscaping, excavation, or general labour is considered an asset, but not required

• Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods in various weather conditions

• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn

• Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

• Strong communication skills and attention to safety procedures
