African Foodways operates a multi-location grocery and warehouse network. Behind every stocked shelf is a warehouse team that keeps product moving accurately and on time. We're looking for people who take pride in physical, hands-on work done right.

The Opportunity

As a General Labourer, you'll be part of the backbone of our warehouse operations — receiving, moving, organizing, and preparing product for distribution to our stores.

What You'll Do

• Load and unload delivery trucks safely and efficiently
• Move inventory using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment
• Sort, stack, and organize products in designated storage areas
• Pick and prepare orders for store distribution
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of safety hazards
• Perform inventory counts and report discrepancies
• Assist with general maintenance and warehouse upkeep tasks as needed
• Follow all workplace safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and PPE use

What We're Looking For

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout a shift
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, including cold storage areas
• Previous warehouse or general labour experience is an asset, but not required
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Flexible availability, including early mornings and weekends
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
