General Labourer

Duties

• Assist with the loading and unloading of materials, tools, and equipment to ensure smooth project flow
• Support tradespeople by preparing work sites, organizing supplies, and maintaining cleanliness
• Perform basic maintenance tasks such as cleaning work areas, disposing of debris, and ensuring safety protocols are followed
• Carry out manual labour tasks including digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials as directed
• Follow safety guidelines diligently to promote a secure working environment for all team members
• Operate simple machinery or tools when trained and authorized to do so
• Help set up and dismantle equipment or temporary structures on-site as needed

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
• Good communication skills to follow instructions clearly and work effectively within a team
• Basic understanding of safety procedures in a construction or industrial setting is preferred but not required
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential for success in this role
