General Labourer - Racker/Unracker – Red River Galvanizing

Compensation: Starting at $17.00, depending on experience and qualifications

About the Role

We are hiring a General Labourer to support daily operations of the racking and unracking departments in our galvanizing facility. This is a hands-on role involving racking and unracking parts, cleaning materials, and assisting with general shop tasks. If you’re reliable, physically capable, and comfortable working in an industrial environment, this could be a good fit.

Shift: We are currently hiring for the following shifts:

• Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
• Monday - Friday, 4:00 p.m. - 12:30 a.m.

Key Responsibilities

• Rack and unrack parts for processing
• Clean parts, racks, and work areas as required
• Assist with material handling and movement of product
• Perform general labour and shop support tasks
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Support production staff as needed

Requirements

• Ability to perform physical work (standing, lifting, repetitive tasks)
• Comfortable working in an industrial/manufacturing environment
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Basic understanding of workplace safety
• Previous galvanizing or labour experience is an asset but not required
• Experience operating an overhead crane is considered an asset but not required
