General Labourer

DIGSAFE Contracting INC. is a excavation contracting company in North Bay, ON. Our goal is to take pride and care in our work to ensure our client’s needs are met, wile keeping a high standard in safety.

We are looking for a Laborer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing physical labour, following instructions, and working safely and efficiently. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to lift heavy objects. The ideal candidate should also have experience in construction or landscaping and be able to work in all weather conditions, and be available 24/7 during winter months.

Responsibilities:

• Follow safety protocols and use protective equipment.
• Lift, carry, and move heavy objects.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
• Perform general maintenance tasks such as cleaning and painting.
• Operate power tools and other machinery as needed.
• Work in a variety of weather conditions.
• Shovel snow, keep walkways clear and safe
• Follow instructions from supervisors.

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
