General Labourer

The Mini Machine Man Inc. is looking for reliable , hardworking, and motivated General Labourer to join our snow removal team for the winter season.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing manual snow removal, clearing sidewalks and walkways, applying ice control materials, and assisting equipment operators with snow removal operations at commercial and residential properties.

Responsibilites

• Perform manula snow removal using shovels, snow blowers, and other equipment.
• Clear snow and ice from sidewalks, walkways, entrances, stairs, and other designated areas.
• Apply salt, sand, and ice melt products as required.
• Assist skid steer operators and dump truck drivers during snow removal operations.
• Remove snow buildup around buildings, parking areas, and other locations inaccessible to heavy equiplment.
• Maintain snow removal tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Follow assigned routes and complete tasks efficiently.
• Identify and report hazardous conditions, property damage, or equipment issues.
• Follow company safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
• Respond to snow removal calls during early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous snow removal or general labour experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and shoveling snow for extended periods.
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme winter weather conditions.

Work Schedule

• Seasonal winter employment.
• On-call shifts depending on snowfall and operational requirements.
• Early morning, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays may be required.
• Working hours vary depending on snow accumulation and workload.

Compensation

• Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
• Pay schedule and employment conditions discussed upon hiring.

Pay: $16.34-$28.08 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
