General Labourer (Manufacturing)

Shift Vacancies:

Day Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

General Objective:

• General facilities and yard cleaning and maintenance duties, as required,
• Movement of raw material, in process parts and completed parts during manufacturing processes, shipping, and receiving, as required.

Responsibilities:

• Move material, parts, and pallets as required.
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, scissor lifts or other equipment (as per training) to move, load, unload, transport and/or store as necessary.
• Cleaning duties as required.
• Emptying of chip bins.
• Assist with maintenance as required.
• Routinely fill washroom stock.
• Assist other departments with labouring tasks as requested.
• Comply with all HSE, QMS and corporate policies at Norquest, and perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Forklift experience an asset.
• Warehouse experience an asset.
• High attention to detail.
• Organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• High attention to safety and quality procedures and protocols, and good communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
