GENERAL LABOURER (WAREHOUSE)

Job Description We are looking for reliable FULL-TIME GENERAL LABOURER to assist the operations team at our BELLEVILLE Warehouse, located at 659 College Street East. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday,

HOURS: Monday - Friday: 3:00PM - 11:30PM SALARY: $18.00 per hour to start, with a salary increase after 3 months Qualifications JOB PURPOSE: Our Warehouse worker’s responsibilities include storing materials, picking, packing and scanning orders. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
• Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
• Report any discrepancies
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
• Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
• Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards
• Open bales, crates, and other containers
• Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing request, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed
• May also assist in counting of physical inventory
• Prepare parcels for mailing

VISION’S ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; sweep, dust and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
• Wear the proper safety equipment
• Special projects as assigned

• Demonstrates ability to work in environment with minimal supervision
• Avid understanding of production procedures
