General Ledger Accountant

Our accounting team is growing at RPM Consulting! Located in Asheville, NC, we are seeking a motivated individual that can thrive in a fast paced work environment that has experience in General Ledger Accounting. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter and possess the ability to focus on multiple tasks simultaneously. We are looking for a professional and goal-oriented individual.This job is in-person and starting pay is based on experience.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in general ledger accounting or a similar role.
• preparing monthly standard journal entries
• Experience with due to/due from accounting and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
• maintaining balance sheet schedules
• analyzing general ledger account balances to determine accuracy and completeness of entries.
• Strong understanding of GAAP or IFRS and experience with financial reporting and analysis.
• Knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC is preferred; Excel is a must have

Preferred experience working with multiple entities and departments handling intercompany and interdepartmental transactions, eliminations and consolidations, including audited, reviewed, compiled financial statements.

This position must have an excellent understanding of the technical and financial implications of the associated processes and can identify and resolve issues independently.

Pay: STARTING PAY IS BASED ON EXPERIENCE.
