General Ledger Accounting Supervisor

About the role

This role is responsible for accounting and finance operations, including month-end and year-end closing activities, financial reporting, tax matters, and compliance with accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare and review bank reconciliations and related accounting transactions.
• Handle domestic and international tax matters, including verify the submission of relevant tax filings from team members.
• Manage accounting for loans, interest expenses, and other financing-related transactions.
• Handle accounting for employee benefits and accrued expenses related to the closing process.
• Manage intercompany and related-party transactions and ensure proper accounting treatment.
• Prepare and review financial statements and financial reports.
• Prepare information and provide support for internal and external audits.
• Coordinate with internal departments, overseas branches, and external parties on accounting and tax matters.
• Prepare information and support accounting department budgeting and budget control.

About you

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in accounting, including month-end/year-end closing.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and taxation.
• Experience in Financial reporting and Tax will be an advantage.
• Good command of Microsoft Excel with the ability to analyze accounting and financial data.
• Experience using Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) or Microsoft Dynamics 365 will be an advantage.
• Fast learner with the ability to adapt to new tasks, processes, and systems.
• Detail-oriented, meticulous, and observant, with strong attention to accuracy.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and work effectively within deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills with the ability to work well as part of a team.
